Chabad of South Australia (“Chabad SA”) is a haven for Jews in South Australia (“SA”) and central Australia, and for those seeking to identify with the Torah’s ways. It provides ongoing Traditional-Jewish servicing of their social and spiritual needs, and offers central Australia its only local traditional rabbi.
Regular services offered at Chabad SA include:
- The only traditional synagogue services in SA for weekly Shabbat prayers and for all Yom Tov prayers
- Providing SA’s only regular offering of Shabbat feasts, hospitality & board
- Fun & informative Children's & Teens' Jewish education
- Exciting get-togethers for university students
- An array of Adult education classes
- Fun & informative Bar-Mitzva and Bat-Mitzva programs
- Kosher food and Judaica delivery, and a Kosher catering service
- Counselling and hospital & home visitation for those in need
- Jewish outreach programs to inspire those not-yet or less involved
- Serving as an open house for Jewish travellers
- Supporting the non-Jewish community in pursuing the knowledge of, and observing, the Torah’s Universal Code.

- Monthly Shabbaton or Barbecue - to inspire, uplift and unite the community
- Periodic visits by rabbinic interns and youth workers to uplift community members, engage the young, and reach out to Jews in far-flung areas
